Cancellation Policy
Hózhó Horsemanship Booking Policy Purpose This policy ensures a smooth and fair process for booking lessons, rides, and programs at Hózhó Horsemanship, while protecting the safety and time of our horses, staff, and guests. Booking Process All lessons, rides, and programs must be booked in advance through our online booking system or by contacting staff directly. Full payment (or deposit, if applicable) is required at the time of booking to confirm a reservation. Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Cancellations & Refunds 48-Hour Notice: Guests must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late Cancellations: Bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable. No-Shows: Failure to attend without notice forfeits the full booking fee. Weather Cancellations: If Hózhó Horsemanship cancels due to unsafe weather or conditions, guests may reschedule or receive account credit. Rescheduling Rescheduling must be completed at least 48 hours before the scheduled time. Rescheduled sessions are subject to availability and must be used within 30 days. Arrival & Late Policy Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time to check in and prepare. Sessions begin promptly. Late arrivals may have reduced ride time and will still be charged in full. Safety & Participation All participants must complete a waiver and provide emergency contact information prior to riding or handling horses. Proper attire is required: helmets (provided if needed), long pants, and closed-toe shoes with a heel. Staff reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit, unsafe, or in violation of safety rules. Group Bookings & Events A deposit is required for group bookings, parties, or special events. Deposits are non-refundable if cancelled within 7 days of the event. Travel and Mobile Events Travel to client's location is included up to 25 miles. Each mile beyond 25, incurs a $4 per mile fee to include roundtrip travel. Right to Refuse Service Hózhó Horsemanship reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at its discretion, including for safety, animal welfare, or policy violations.
